The Virtue of Giving Iftar

Get ready to feed the poor and give iftar meals to the fasting people. So, begin to increase the amount of food that you prepare for lunch and distribute the extra food among the poor of your neighborhood or the caretaker. It was narrated that Zayd ibn Khalid Al-Juhani said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without being detracted from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” (Authenticated by Al-Albani)
