What Deeds are the Best? 

Ibn Mas`ud narrated that: A man asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) “What deeds are the best?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “To perform the (daily compulsory) prayers at their (early) stated fixed times, to be good and dutiful to one’s own parents, and to participate in Jihad in Allah’s Cause.” (Al-Bukhari)
